Catherine P. Bessant is chief operations and technology officer at Bank of America, and is a member of the company’s executive management team. Since 2010, Bessant has led Global Technology and Operations (GT&O), delivering end-to-end technology and operating services across the company through nearly 95,000 employees and contractors in more than 35 countries.
Bessant has held a number of senior leadership roles for the company. She was president, Global Corporate Banking; president, Global Product Solutions and Global Treasury Services; chief marketing officer; president, Consumer Real Estate and Community Development Banking; national Small Business Segment executive; and president of the Florida market. She joined the bank as a corporate banker in 1982.
Bessant represents our employees on a number of important topics serving as executive sponsor for the company’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride executive board, the LGBT Ally program, and the Disability Advisory Council. She is one of OUTstanding’s top 10 Leading LGBT+ & Ally Executives.
Active in the community and region, Bessant received the 2018 Distinguished Service Award from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In addition, she was awarded the North Carolina Order of the Long Leaf Pine and was recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal with the Women in Business Lifetime Achievement Award. She chairs the North Tryon Vision Plan Advisory Committee.
Bessant recently led the formation of The Council on the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Managed by the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, the council will convene the brightest minds from tech, business, academia and government.
Bessant serves on the board of directors of Zurich Insurance Group and the advisory board for the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She is ranked No. 1 among the “25 Most Powerful Women in Banking” by American Banker. She also appears on Working Mother magazine’s “50 Most Powerful Working Moms” list of 2018.

Sarah Biller is very active in the FinTech community. Sarah is the co-Founder of the FinTech Sandbox and currently sits on its Board of Directors. She is also an Entrepreneur, Advisor, Investor and teaches a graduate level course on the evolution of Financial Technology at Brandeis University.
Sarah was also most recently the Head of Innovation Ventures at State Street Bank's Global Exchange division and its Chief Operating Officer for Innovation. Prior to joining State Street, Sarah has been a Principal in the launch of several successful venture-backed start-ups in the FinTech and Life Sciences sectors. Most recently she was the Co-Founder and President of Capital Market Exchange (CMX), a venture-backed predictive analytics platform utilizing investor sentiment to help bond investors anticipate near-term changes in spreads.
Sarah has also held roles at Fidelity Investments; worked on MCI's corporate venture team; and launched and led research divisions for Fortune 500 CFO's and treasurers at the Corporate Executive Board. Ms. Biller studied Finance at West Virginia University and George Washington University.
Senior Technology Officer, CM Institutional & Corp Banking Technology

Victor currently serves as a Senior Technology officer at the Bank Of Montreal (BMO). Servicing Global Capital Markets & Client Services Divisions; Victor and his team have accomplished the following since June of 2014:
• Implemented the global Client LifeCycle Management platform (Fenergo) for Capital Markets;
• Standardized customer data capture, enhanced regulatory and compliance controls and visibility over the Client On-Boarding process for North America & Europe.
• Reporting / reconciliation to support a broad range of regulatory processes (Volcker, IIROC, FATCA, DFA, CTR, etc.)
• Digitized the Legal Agreements Platform for Capital Markets
• Established eSignature solution for all of Compliance, Legal and Client Onboarding platforms.
Victor's recent focus has now shifted and he's become the Lead Solutions Architect and Supplier Manager for the firms' Capital Markets Client Data Strategy Program. The effort is targeted to complete in Oct '17.
The effort will merge various federated client customer "golden" sources onto one centralized platform, with the aim to "match & merge" customer information with trade detail and credit risk information. The effort will also provide greater line of sight to counterparty hierarchy, credit risk exposure, reduce operational risk & produce greater operating efficiencies of core client information. The bottom line business results will produce a vehicle where we can increase revenue generation through up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with clients.
In addition to the Client Data Strategy focus; Victor is also exploring and designing a CM "Big Data" Data Science solution. Various business use cases revolving around Data Discovery and Data Analytics has driven needs to implement the correct Hadoop/Big Data ecosystem model. The model needs to fully leverage or existing enterprise "Big Data" architecture but also help address current gaps. The main focus in this effort is to address scalable, "time to market" and performance while keeping "Total Cost of Ownership" at the lowest point possible.
Victor has a Computer Science & Math degree from the College of New Jersey; He possesses a PMP certification and also has obtained continued learning certificates from Columbia University and New York University.

Alla is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Bank of America's enterprise functions, as well as the End User Computing executive. She is also the bank's relationship manager for Microsoft and Hewlett Packard.
In her CTO role, Alla owns the end-to-end client engagement, design, plan, build and operation of infrastructure solutions for the company's enterprise functions, which includes Global Technology & Operations, Corporate Audit, Finance, Global Human Resources, Global Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Relations.
In her role of End User Computing executive, Alla is responsible for delivering end-to-end technology and operations supporting desktop platforms, mobility services, communication and collaboration technologies, secure messaging, spam/anti-virus, Office Suite and managed desktop and print/fax services.
Alla's team operates in more than ten countries and includes approximately 1,900 employees and contractors world-wide.
Previously, Alla led the Infrastructure Solutions team where she was responsible for client relationship management for Global Wholesale Banking, which included the plan, design, architecture and delivery of infrastructure for the Global Wholesale Banking business.
Prior to joining Bank of America in 2011, Alla served as Managing Director in the Investment Banking division at JP Morgan, responsible for Application and Infrastructure Management supporting global equities and prime brokerage. Previously, Alla was Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns responsible for Global Cash Equities Infrastructure and Application Management. She also held leadership positions at Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust and Home Insurance.
Alla earned a Computer Science degree from Georgia Technical University.
She lives in New York , NY with her husband and son.
