Sarah Biller

Founder & CEO

FinTech Sandbox

Sarah Biller is very active in the FinTech community. Sarah is the co-Founder of the FinTech Sandbox and currently sits on its Board of Directors. She is also an Entrepreneur, Advisor, Investor and teaches a graduate level course on the evolution of Financial Technology at Brandeis University.

Sarah was also most recently the Head of Innovation Ventures at State Street Bank's Global Exchange division and its Chief Operating Officer for Innovation. Prior to joining State Street, Sarah has been a Principal in the launch of several successful venture-backed start-ups in the FinTech and Life Sciences sectors. Most recently she was the Co-Founder and President of Capital Market Exchange (CMX), a venture-backed predictive analytics platform utilizing investor sentiment to help bond investors anticipate near-term changes in spreads.

Sarah has also held roles at Fidelity Investments; worked on MCI's corporate venture team; and launched and led research divisions for Fortune 500 CFO's and treasurers at the Corporate Executive Board. Ms. Biller studied Finance at West Virginia University and George Washington University.

Victor Tewari

Senior Technology Officer, CM Institutional & Corp Banking Technology


Victor currently serves as a Senior Technology officer at the Bank Of Montreal (BMO). Servicing Global Capital Markets & Client Services Divisions; Victor and his team have accomplished the following since June of 2014:

• Implemented the global Client LifeCycle Management platform (Fenergo) for Capital Markets;
• Standardized customer data capture, enhanced regulatory and compliance controls and visibility over the Client On-Boarding process for North America & Europe.
• Reporting / reconciliation to support a broad range of regulatory processes (Volcker, IIROC, FATCA, DFA, CTR, etc.)
• Digitized the Legal Agreements Platform for Capital Markets
• Established eSignature solution for all of Compliance, Legal and Client Onboarding platforms.

Victor's recent focus has now shifted and he's become the Lead Solutions Architect and Supplier Manager for the firms' Capital Markets Client Data Strategy Program. The effort is targeted to complete in Oct '17.
The effort will merge various federated client customer "golden" sources onto one centralized platform, with the aim to "match & merge" customer information with trade detail and credit risk information. The effort will also provide greater line of sight to counterparty hierarchy, credit risk exposure, reduce operational risk & produce greater operating efficiencies of core client information. The bottom line business results will produce a vehicle where we can increase revenue generation through up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with clients.

In addition to the Client Data Strategy focus; Victor is also exploring and designing a CM "Big Data" Data Science solution. Various business use cases revolving around Data Discovery and Data Analytics has driven needs to implement the correct Hadoop/Big Data ecosystem model. The model needs to fully leverage or existing enterprise "Big Data" architecture but also help address current gaps. The main focus in this effort is to address scalable, "time to market" and performance while keeping "Total Cost of Ownership" at the lowest point possible.

Victor has a Computer Science & Math degree from the College of New Jersey; He possesses a PMP certification and also has obtained continued learning certificates from Columbia University and New York University.

David Saul

SVP and Chief Scientist


David Saul is Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist at State Street Corporation, reporting to the Chief Information Officer. In this role, he is responsible for proposing and assessing new advanced technologies for the organization as well as evaluating technologies already in use at State Street and their likely evolution in order to reinforce the organization's leadership position in financial services.

Mr. Saul previously was Chief Information Security Officer, where he oversaw State Street's corporate information security program, controls and technology. Prior to that, he managed State Street's Office of Architecture, where he was responsible for the overall enterprise technology, data and security architecture of the corporation. Mr. Saul joined State Street in 1992 after 15 years with IBM's Cambridge Scientific Center, where he managed innovations in operating systems virtualization, multiprocessing, networking and personal computers. Mr. Saul serves as a Trustee of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. In 2007 he was honored with a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader Award. American Banker named Mr. Saul as one of its Top Innovators of 2013 for his work on data semantics and standards.

Mr. Saul holds Bachelors and Master's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.



Joseph Lodato

Managing Director, Global Head of Compliance Surveillance and Technology


As a Executive, with more than two decades of fast-track leadership experience in the financial services industry, Joe Lodato offers a comprehensive understanding of the issues, trends, challenges and solutions facing leaders in today's dynamic and volatile financial services organizations.

Joe's career success is based on strong and decisive leadership, combined with the ability to bridge the divide between technology and business and ensure alignment with corporate objectives delivered through technology.

In Managing Director and Chief Operating roles, Joe led the successful integration of technology with financial and operations processes to ensure compliance and drive productivity across all levels of the organization, and in a variety of settings, from startup organizations to large global services organizations, including Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and AllianceBernstein.

Joe earned his degree in finance from the Lublin School of Business at Pace University in New York City and presently is the Chief Compliance Officer at Guggenheim Securities


Anthony Vigilante

Head of Global Information Technology


Anthony is a Managing Director and head of the Global Information Technology group at MacKay Shields. He graduated from New York University with a BS in Information Systems Management and from Fordham University with an MS in Computer Science. Anthony also holds an Advanced Certificate in Financial Econometrics and Data Analysis from the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at Fordham University. He regularly speaks at various technology conferences and is significantly involved with the Computer Science program at Fordham University. He joined MacKay Shields in 1999 and has been in the industry since 1994.

Michael Radziemski

Michael Radziemski is a partner in Fortium's New York practice. He brings more than 30 years of global technology leadership in the Financial Sector, with extensive experience working with CEOs and executive business leadership teams. Expert at technology strategy, business alignment, and overall enterprise strategic planning and execution. Broad technology expertise includes: strategic software development, large project delivery, cyber security, thoughtfully leveraging cloud computing, optimizing staffing with full-time, contract, outsourced, and offshore resources, and risk management. Radziemski has earned a reputation as a technology executive who can provide steady, clear-headed leadership in periods of chaos and complex business transitions.

Matt Joseph

Head of the Jersey City Innovation Center


Matt Joseph is the Head of the Jersey City Innovation Center at BNY Mellon. His responsibilities include innovation projects, improving developer productivity, client engagement, startup community engagement, NEXEN strategy, talent engagement, and more. Matt is a self-described "geek" who is passionate about technology, equally at ease with writing code, testing products, and iterating on the user experience.

Prior to his role at the Innovation Center, Matt was part of BNY Mellon's Enterprise Business Architecture team. He has worked on a variety of strategic projects, including business architecture analysis, analytics platform onboarding and cloud migration.

Alla Whitston

Managing Director, Enterprise Chief Technology Officer and End User Computing Executive


Alla is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Bank of America's enterprise functions, as well as the End User Computing executive. She is also the bank's relationship manager for Microsoft and Hewlett Packard.

In her CTO role, Alla owns the end-to-end client engagement, design, plan, build and operation of infrastructure solutions for the company's enterprise functions, which includes Global Technology & Operations, Corporate Audit, Finance, Global Human Resources, Global Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Relations.

In her role of End User Computing executive, Alla is responsible for delivering end-to-end technology and operations supporting desktop platforms, mobility services, communication and collaboration technologies, secure messaging, spam/anti-virus, Office Suite and managed desktop and print/fax services.

Alla's team operates in more than ten countries and includes approximately 1,900 employees and contractors world-wide.

Previously, Alla led the Infrastructure Solutions team where she was responsible for client relationship management for Global Wholesale Banking, which included the plan, design, architecture and delivery of infrastructure for the Global Wholesale Banking business.

Prior to joining Bank of America in 2011, Alla served as Managing Director in the Investment Banking division at JP Morgan, responsible for Application and Infrastructure Management supporting global equities and prime brokerage. Previously, Alla was Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns responsible for Global Cash Equities Infrastructure and Application Management. She also held leadership positions at Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust and Home Insurance.

Alla earned a Computer Science degree from Georgia Technical University.

She lives in New York , NY with her husband and son.
