David Reilly

Chief information officer, global banking & markets enterprise

Bank of America

David Reilly is the chief information officer for Global Banking & Markets and the Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology executive at Bank of America. He leads a global team of employees who provide end-to-end technology solutions and support for the Global Banking and Global Markets businesses as well as the Enterprise Risk & Finance organizations. He serves as a member of the Global Technology & Operations senior leadership team, reporting to Cathy Bessant, chief operations and technology officer.
Most recently, Reilly was Bank of America’s chief technology officer, responsible for the company’s technology networks, product engineering, desktop and electronic communications, application hosting and data storage, operations management, support services and data centers. His team also managed the information security and vendor management strategy, policy and programs across the company’s technology footprint.
Reilly joined Bank of America in 2011 as chief technology officer for Global Wealth & Investment Management, responsible for strategy, architecture, design and build, operations, engagement and project delivery of the technology infrastructure that supports the business. He also led the bank’s Shared Technology Infrastructure organization where he was accountable for designing, building and operating enterprise technology infrastructure.
Reilly has more than 25 years of technology experience in high-level infrastructure roles within the financial services industry, including chief information officer for enterprise infrastructure at Morgan Stanley, a leadership role in technology infrastructure services at Credit Suisse, managing director of global technology operations at Goldman Sachs and director of enterprise technology services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Merrill Lynch.
He began his career in the United Kingdom at Land Securities, within Operations. He has been named one of Computerworld’s “Premier 100” IT Leaders. Reilly serves as board chair of NPower, a U.S. nonprofit organization that provides training in digital careers for military veterans and young adults from underserved communities.

Vijay Kasarabada

Vijay Kasarabada is the Global Head of Technology for Lazard Asset Management. He began working in the investment field in 2000. Prior to joining Lazard in 2017, Vijay was a Managing Director within BlackRock's Aladdin product group helping build several aspects of their technology to support the wider investment management process from Front through Middle through the Back Office. Prior to that Vijay worked at large institutions such as Merrill Lynch, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs (where he started his technology career on Wall Street), helping architect solutions in the Capital Markets Sales and Trading domain, along with a core expertise in the Investment Management domain. Vijay’s responsibilities focus on all aspects of technology that support Lazard Asset Management’s global business operations. Vijay has an MBA in Finance and Business Strategy from Rutgers and a B.S. in Computer Science from Rohilkhand University.

Kim Prado

Kim Prado heads the Global client, banking & digital technology group across Capital Markets.  She has been at RBC for over 12 years supporting the business in various capacities from running Global FIC Production Services to Head of Fixed Income Sales and Credit Trading technology.  Currently, her role includes managing all aspects of client technology as well as Banking and Digital Channels across all lines of business within CM.  She is also a member of RBC’s Global Markets Innovation Leadership Council. Prior to joining RBC, Mrs.Prado ran the API Connectivity Development team at ICAP and was part of the initial launch of BrokerTec.  She has also held multiple technology positions across the street with Deutsche Bank, Mizuho and Chase Securities. Mrs. Prado received a BA from Stockton University in accounting.

Keith Lubell

Keith Lubell is CTO at Berkery Noyes. Since 2002, Keith has been developing an application and database of the Mergers and Acquisitions marketplace, encompassing more than 47,000 transactions and 123,000 companies in the software and information industry, including a toolset to understand business models and identify short and long-term trends. Prior to Berkery Noyes, Keith worked as Director of Application Development at Valinor – Ikon Office Solutions, where he obtained certifications as a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, Microsoft Certified System Engineer and Microsoft Certified Trainer.

JP Chauvet is CTO of Global Transaction Banking at Deutsche Bank, based in New York. In this role, JP drives the technology strategy and architecture governance across the main businesses that form the Deutsche Bank GTB franchise: Cash Management, Trade Finance, Securities Services and Trust & Agency Services.

Previously, JP held various roles in New York and Tokyo at Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers, including Chief Architect of Equities, Head of Equities Production Services, and Head of Equities Trading System Development. JP holds a Master of Science in Electronics from ESIEE (Paris, France) and an Advanced Degree in Japanese Linguistics from Hiroo Japanese Center (Tokyo, Japan).

Dessa Glasser

Dessa advises clients in the areas of data, analytics and risk. She has a 25-year proven track record successfully designing and executing global innovative solutions, often influencing a Board or Operating Committee. She built the Chief Data Office for JPMorgan Chase Asset Management, serving as the first CDO, and initiated the Capital Stress Testing Analytics team for JPMorgan Chase. She was Deputy Director of the Office of Financial Research (US Treasury), responsible for data, international standards (including the Legal Entity Identifier, LEI), analytics and technology and building the Office. As the first CRO, she launched the Chief Risk Office for Bunge. Dessa has held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, IBM and KPMG. She began her career teaching finance at Rutgers University. Dessa has a Ph. D. and MA in Economics from Fordham University and serves on the advisory Board of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She has a BS in Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University and was co-president of the Women's Bond Club of NY.

Michael Beal



Michael Beal is the CEO of Data Capital Management. A systematic Hedge Fund that specializes in machine learning, advanced technologies and novel data sources to generate differentiated and uncorrelated returns for the clients of its DCM A.I. Absolute Return Fund.

Prior to DCM, Mr. Beal co-founded the Big Data and Advanced Analytics group for JP Morgan Chase and was an investor with TPG Capital and Morgan Stanley. Michael is a frequent Keynote and CNBC contributor and is passionate about investing, the onset of the “Data Economy” and the application of disruptive technologies to valuable “problems to solve”.

Michael earned a BA from Harvard College with honors in Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School with distinction. Michael is an active Board Member of the City University of New York’s Medgar Evers College.

Alla Whitston



Alla Whitston is the SVP, Chief Technology Officer for CIT Group Inc., a leading national bank focused on empowering businesses and personal savers. In this role, Whitston leads the technology planning and development for enterprise functions and all lines of business. Whitston joined CIT in October 2018 from Bank of America where she was most recently the managing director and chief technology officer for enterprise functions. Previously, she also led end-user technology services and wholesale banking technology infrastructure. Prior to joining Bank of America, Whitston served as the managing director in the Investment Banking division at JP Morgan and was responsible for application and infrastructure management. She also held key technology positions at Bear Stearns, Goldman Sachs and Bankers Trust. She holds a master’s degree in computer science from Georgia Technical University.

Sarah Biller is very active in the FinTech community. Sarah is the co-Founder of the FinTech Sandbox and currently sits on its Board of Directors. She is also an Entrepreneur, Advisor, Investor and teaches a graduate level course on the evolution of Financial Technology at Brandeis University.

Sarah was also most recently the Head of Innovation Ventures at State Street Bank's Global Exchange division and its Chief Operating Officer for Innovation. Prior to joining State Street, Sarah has been a Principal in the launch of several successful venture-backed start-ups in the FinTech and Life Sciences sectors. Most recently she was the Co-Founder and President of Capital Market Exchange (CMX), a venture-backed predictive analytics platform utilizing investor sentiment to help bond investors anticipate near-term changes in spreads.

Bill Murphy is a Managing Partner at Cresting Wave, a technology advisory firm bringing innovative technologies to the enterprise technology community.   Bill is also a board member at Accurics and investor/advisor to a broad portfolio of early-stage companies.

Bill was a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Technology Officer at Blackstone, leading the Blackstone Innovations team from 2011-2020, responsible for the firm's use of technology along with a strategic technology investment portfolio. Mr. Murphy also served on many boards of directors of our investments along with the board of the Blackstone Charitable foundation.

From 1999 - 2011, Bill was founding Chief Technology Officer for Capital IQ where he was responsible for overseeing all product design, development, infrastructure, and technology support and was involved with all operations of the business. Sandeep Mehta

Sandeep Mehta is an Executive Vice President in Technology at Wells Fargo. Sandeep joined Wells Fargo in 2014 from UBS where he was a Managing Director based in Zurich, Switzerland, and Hong Kong. He has extensive financial services experience over twenty five years leading Technology teams at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, and Lehman Brothers in New York, India, the Middle East and Asia.

Kevin M. Welch

Kevin Welch is responsible for the Workforce Transformation & Shared Services disciplines within BBH Investor Services.  In this role, Mr. Welch manages a process engineering team that identifies and implements business and technology solutions with the goal of constantly improving the services BBH offers to our clients.   He is also responsible for developing and executing our globalization plan, operational strategy and relationships with outsourcing partners. 

Mr. Welch joined BBH in 2004 and previously served as the Head of Service Delivery and the Head of Custody, Markets and Client Service in Krakow.  He was instrumental in establishing the Krakow office. Mr. Welch began his tenure at BBH in Boston within Corporate Actions, and later became the department head for the division.

Prior to joining the bank in 2017, Laura was the Chief Information Officer for Enterprise Stress Testing Technology, Global head of Compliance Technology, America’s Head of Risk Technology at Deutsche Bank. Laura spent twenty years in various roles across J.P. Morgan where she was Chief Technology Officer delivering global enterprise business initiatives and industry-leading technology programs within Corporate and Investment Banking (Global Markets). Sri Malladi

Sri Malladi is a Director at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in the Data and Statistics Group. Sri's expertise is to help organizations grow and manage change, while leveraging technology as a key enabler.

Most recently, at the NY Fed, Sri has helped the organization to increase capacity, reduce risk and improve data quality. He established KPIs to improve operations and data quality, and his team is leveraging automation to reduce manual effort, improve engagement with financial institutions, and decrease operational risk.

Prior to that, Sri has spent several years as an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Macquarie Capital advising Fortune 500 and private companies on M&A and capital raising transactions. At Hertz he helped the company grow and optimize its U.S. footprint through franchising and acquisitions. Sri also led innovation and product development at Microsoft, to improve customer satisfaction for its Windows users. Sri has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Computer Engineering Masters degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Eric Karpman

Eric Karpman, a well-known subject matter expert in trading technology, execution management and trade lifecycle optimization.

Eric Karpman has worked during the last 25 years for a number of global financial institutions in finding and implementing strategies to maximize return. During his tenure on Wall Street, he was involved with the equity trading sell-side at Deutsche Bank, Renaissance Capital, Fuji Bank/Mizuho and Bloomberg, on the fixed income trading sell-side at JJKennyDrake trading unit of Standard & Poor's and Bear Stearns, worked on improvements to the matching engine of NYSE and Arca as well as with the buy-side technologies at UBS, Barclays, BNY Mellon Asset Management and a number of hedge funds and asset management companies. Throughout his career, Eric and his teams have successfully implemented electronic trading systems with direct interfaces to the Street as well as the algorithmic, program and direct market access trading platforms for instant market analysis, decision-making capabilities and straight-through processing. In 2004, Eric was elected a Co-Chair of the FIX Protocol Technical Committee where he was involved with the future direction and the strategy of this messaging standard developed specifically for the real-time electronic exchange of securities transactions. In addition, Eric has written a number of books and articles describing multi-asset class trading systems he has built that cover equities, fixed income, derivatives and FX products for successful trading strategies’ implementation.  Eric is a graduate of the M.B.A. program in Finance at the New York University Stern School of Business. He is also a holder of NASD Series 7, 55 and 63 Licenses.

Simon Ritter

Simon Ritter is a world-renowned expert in Java technology.  He joined Sun Microsystems in 1996 and started working with Java from JDK 1.0; he has spent time working in both Java development and consultancy. Having moved to Oracle as part of the Sun acquisition he managed the Java Evangelism team for the core Java platform, Java for client applications and embedded Java. Now as Deputy CTO at Azul he continues to help people understand Java as well as Azul's JVM technologies and products. Simon is a Java Champion and has been awarded Java Rock Star status twice. Michael Patton

Michael Patton is a Senior Director within Data Management Solutions global product management team at S&P Global Market Intelligence.  He oversees a variety of quantitative and qualitative datasets offered through enterprise platforms.  He is responsible for the overall maintenance of each of these product offerings, as well as a continued focus to uncover new growth opportunities in the marketplace.  He is also actively involved in many of the company’s strategic partnerships. 

Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence in early 2008, Mr. Patton was a Sales Executive at the Bank of New York, where he sold independent research to institutional clients across the Northeast and Southwest regions.  Mr. Patton began his financial career at Thomson Financial.  During his stay, he held various sales roles including managing large institutional accounts throughout North America.

Suvrat Bansal

In this role, he drives the data strategy, analytics strategy, data governance and innovation strategy for the division. Prior to UBS, Suvrat has played data leadership roles at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley. John F. Woods

John F. Woods is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Citizen’s Bank. Previously, he worked at MUFG, where he served as CFO of the Americas. He also previously served as Vice Chairman and CFO for the predecessor company of MUFG Union Bank since December 2009. Prior to that, Woods was CFO of the Home Lending business at JPMorgan Chase and at Washington Mutual, a predecessor entity. Before that he held senior financial positions at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac), including CFO of the Funding & Investment Division and Corporate Controller.

Woods began his financial career in 1986 with Arthur Andersen in Washington, D.C., where he rose to partner in the financial and risk consulting group during his 16 years with the firm.

Woods holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville.

Peter Moss



Peter Moss, CEO of The SmartStream Reference Data Utility (RDU); in partnership with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley. Peter joined the company in August 2016 following 25 years at Thomson Reuters. During his time at Thomson Reuters he established the Thomson Reuters Enterprise business, lead the integration of the Thomson Financial and Reuters businesses, ran data and technology operations as CTO and most recently lead the Financial Division, a global $6bn revenue business. Peter graduated from Bristol University with honours in Mathematics and Computer Science.

His team is responsible for the execution of day-to-day data management activities, remediation of data quality issues, and implementation of change management processes. He works closely with colleagues at the U.S. Data Office to establish and maintain strong data management capabilities, such as data quality measurement and monitoring, data management, and data lineage. He serves as the Data Governance Officer for U.S. Finance, and as such he is the primary point of contact for all U.S. Finance data matters. In his time with Scotiabank, he has championed data as an strategic asset.

Before joining Scotiabank, he was an advisor at Deloitte. At Credit Suisse Holdings (USA) Inc., Arvind led the CCAR data governance initiative. At Morgan Stanley Arvind was responsible for defining, establishing and implementing data governance/data quality program for Basel and CCAR compliance. Arvind also represented the CFO office in establishing the "Enterprise Data Office” for regulatory compliance (DFAST/CCAR and BASEL).

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in global capital markets, consulting and associated technologies, focusing on risk management, front- and middle-office platforms and data management. Before Chartis he held executive positions in large global financial institutions, consultancies and FinTechs, in various roles including platform and software development, solution architecture, large-scale program management, vendor selection and implementation, and strategy development and execution.

With a background covering the front, middle and back office, Mark brings to Chartis a holistic view of business, technology and regulatory issues across the enterprise, and how these issues can be addressed by leveraging appropriate technology solutions. His primary focus has been risk technology, and his work in this area includes: leading the global teams for risk technology at RBS Capital Markets and AIG; working with middle- and front-office technology teams at Barclays Capital; extensive consulting experience with major consulting organizations including EY and Deloitte; and extensive vendor experience, including time at Algorithmics and Misys (now Finastra). Prior to joining Voya Julia was a Global Head of Data Integration at Deutsche Bank, where she led the implementation of global metadata management platform that enabled data lineage and robust front to back data quality measurement.

Julia has over twenty years of experience in data management, data governance, architecture and cross-platform solution delivery in the financial industry. She also worked at Citi, FINRA, Freddie Mac, Thomson Financial Services, Bear Stearns and Bloomberg L.P.
Julia has a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the New York University.

He served four years as a member of the Financial Research Advisory Committee of the U.S. Treasury Office of Financial Research and on the boards of several financial industry data groups. Jordan led the launch of DTCC's Global Market Entity Identifier utility, the industry's first and largest global Legal Entity Identifier utility, created successful proprietary data businesses both at DTCC and the NYSE, and served as Chairman and Administrator of the Consolidated Tape Association while at NYSE. He will lead the company's work with strategic clients and expand partnerships with industry participants.
