John Bottega is a senior strategy and data management executive with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. As the former Chief Data Officer at Bank of America, John was responsible for driving the enterprise data management strategy for the firm. This included championing the data management policy and standards, establishing and operationalizing data governance, working with technology to define the data platform, infrastructure and tool simplification, and supporting the bank's data scientist team in their efforts to drive improved information analytics.
Before coming to Bank of America John was the Chief Data Officer for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY) where he worked with domestic and foreign regulators on financial sector data management and data quality. While at FRBNY, John led the effort to define and establish a new international data standard known as the LEI (Legal Entity Identifier), a global standard for unique organizational identification, key to enabling and strengthening system risk analysis in support of global financial stability. During his time at FRBNY, Bottega also served as a Senior Advisor to the Director of the Office of Financial Research (OFR), an agency established by the Dodd-Frank Act within the US Department of the Treasury, responsible for analysis and monitoring of industry-wide systemic risk.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank, Bottega was Chief Data Officer for Citigroup's Corporate and Investment Banking group where he defined their data management improvement strategy and roadmap. While working with Citigroup he led an effort that reduced the bank’s BASEL capital risk exposure through improved data quality initiatives, and resulted in significant bottom line savings to the firm. Prior to Citigroup, he worked for other financial institutions including Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers.

In the area of FinTech, I led SGX's efforts in various proof of concepts involving blockchain and machine learning, represented SGX in several of Singapore's SMART nation initiatives such as project Ubin, and drove the internal innovation program. As for Data, I led the successful transformation of SGX into a data-driven organization by executing the enterprise data strategy so as to extract maximum value from SGX's data assets. I re-architected the data infrastructure to centralize all the business data within a high performance data warehouse. I then managed all the data within the data warehouse to ensure data quality and accuracy for downstream applications and consumers. I also introduced new concepts such as integrated applications, data democracy and distributed sandboxes. Finally, I instituted a data science practice to leverage machine learning, quantitative finance, advanced data analytics and real-time data visualization.
Before transferring to technology, I was head of Data & Analytics at SGX Derivatives business unit where I had supported the growth of SGX’s derivatives business by providing the sales and product managers with data insights to make better informed decisions. I also designed and developed a major application to streamline much of a critical business workflow to improve the productivity and efficiency. Christine Nolan is the Head of Trading Technologies with MarketAxess. Ms. Nolan joined MarketAxess in 2001 as one of the firm’s first employees. In her nearly twenty-year career with the firm, she has helped develop the technology that is revolutionizing the fixed income markets, including the award-winning all-to-all Open Trading™ marketplace. As a senior technologist, Ms. Nolan manages teams of application developers and system engineers across the globe. Most recently, Ms. Nolan spearheaded MarketAxess’ transition to Agile, which is now fully adopted across the firm. Additionally, Ms. Nolan is a founding member of the “Women in Tech” networking group at MarketAxess. Ms. Nolan’s prior roles have included software development positions with financial technology and asset firms, including AXA Financial.
Ms. Nolan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering.

Kat Tatochenko is the Head of Global Data Product with MarketAxess. Kat joined MarketAxess a year ago, where she now manages a team of twenty-five people across the globe. Her goal is to develop innovative data solutions that untimely deliver efficiency and cost savings to end investors around the world. In her twenty-year career in the data business, Kat first worked as a financial analyst at DLJ and then spent eleven years at Thomson Reuters in a variety of business development and sales roles. After leaving Thomson Reuters, she spent seven years at Bloomberg where she managed an international data sales team and was responsible for some of the firm’s top tier clients.
Kat is also a passionate skier and has interior design as hobby, she loves bringing old houses back to life.
Kat holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Math & Statistics, and Economics from Stony Brook University in New York.

Lee has over 15 years of experience in actuarial, AI / data analytics, research and consulting roles at primary insurers, reinsurers and independent consulting. Lee heads the regional AI-analytics centre of competence, located in Singapore, covering the Life & Health Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa business of Munich Re. Lee’s team has multiple projects across the region that are creating tangible value for insurers through AI and predictive analytics which integrate Munich Re’s AI expertise with its domain knowledge and technologies into AI and digital services. Specialist skills include AI and predictive analytics, actuarial pricing, epidemiological and demographic modelling, analysis of medical scheme cohort data and healthcare intervention cost-effectiveness. His Master’s degree, presented at the 2014 International Congress of Actuaries in Washington D.C., provided many South African insurers with the first credible South African research for underwriting HIV and applied advanced analytics methods to medical scheme and managed care data. Lee is now completing a PhD in AI and advanced analytics, is a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Actuarial Society of South African where he chairs its Demography & Epidemiology committee.

Raj Solanki is an Executive Director with over 15 years’ experience shaping global strategies and delivering successful change. Prior to JPM, Raj worked at ABN Amro and Royal Bank of Scotland across London, New York and now Hong Kong where he’s been for the past 10 years. His roles spanned across Technology and the Business with focus solely on change the bank initiatives.

Brijesh Ammanath is the Global CIO for Trade and Working Capital Technology team spread across Pune and Chennai in India, London, Birmingham and Radbroke in the UK.
Prior to Trade and Working Capital, Brijesh has played technology leadership roles in Treasury, Legal, Product Control and Market Risk in Barclays.
Brijesh has strong international work experience having worked for over a decade in London with Merrill Lynch and later with the merged entity BoAML where he was the Technology Delivery Lead for the FX Options business.
Brijesh comes from a strong technology background, which coupled with a keen interest in the business has allowed him to develop and deliver customer centric solutions.
Brijesh’s keen interest in the Trade business and in Operations has ensured that all the technology initiatives have TWC board level support and the team collaborates across functions to drive a successful delivery. Brijesh is able to finely balance implementing Innovation to deliver transformative solutions to the business and at the same time deal with legacy IT issues built up over many years of operation.

Steve Taylor is Head of BNY Mellon Data and Analytics Solutions Platform, where he is responsible for the firm’s next-generation data management platform, the Data Vault. Previously as Eagle Investment Systems’ Chief Technology Officer, Steve was responsible for the technology products and helped transform the technology to support a cloud strategy, as well as introduce new data management and platform capabilities. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science Honours in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.

Following a marketing and advertising career, Fiona set up MESH Experience in 2006 to fill a gap in data and analytics. Brand growth is driven by all experiences people have with brands, yet half or more typically go unmeasured. By taking an Experience Driven Marketing approach and capturing how people come into contact with brands in real time MESH helps clients, like LG Electronics, to take quicker and smarter decisions about their investment. Fiona is a Fellow of the Market Research Society, sits on the editorial advisory board for ESOMAR’s Research World magazine, a member of the Marketing Society and sits on the board of WIRe (Women in Research). She has worked with Professor Hugh Wilson at Cranfield School of Management on a knowledge transfer partnership that was a finalist for the Innovate UK award in 2015.
