Elvie Lahournere is Director, Digital & Innovation, Asia Pacific at Natixis as part of the bank’s move towards digitalisation in the pursuit of creating high value-added solutions for its clients.
In this role, Elvie is responsible for promoting and facilitating the Digital and Innovation Strategy across the APAC platform and the bank globally.
After 12 years of experience across Asia and Europe, with expertise in operational, and strategy development across different industries, Elvie has held senior roles with several technology and strategy businesses based in China such as Alten, and most recently Roland Berger.
Elvie also developed her deep knowledge and network within the technology landscape in China as the co-founder and board member of French Tech Hong Kong.
Kathy Dunn is an Executive Director at JPMorgan with over 20 years’ experience in the Financial & Banking Industry with an impressive track record of managing transformation change, implementing major infrastructure roll-outs and deployments and managing complex market data operational environments. A champion for diversity with a passion for developing junior talent Kathy enjoys travelling, scuba diving and in her spare time writes Young Adult literature.

Aislinn Malone is an Executive Director and Lead for the Technology Management Office supporting the Asia Pacific Chief Information Officer. Over the past 16 years Aislinn has held various roles in both Finance and Technology within Asset Management, Corporate Investment Banking and Enterprise Technology. Prior to working in Hong Kong, Aislinn worked for 5 years in Geneva, Switzerland and 7 years in New York.
Prior to joining JP Morgan in 2001, Aislinn worked in Dublin, Ireland and in Zurich Switzerland as a Management Consultant for KPMG.
Aislinn holds a Bachelor and a Master degrees in Law from the University College Limerick, Ireland.
Aislinn currently resides in Hong Kong with her three children and her husband.

Rupa is part of the global Applied Trading Technology(ATT) team. ATT is an embedded front office technology team responsible for driving the development from idea generation to production implementation of analytics, automated trading, and new products for the Equities Business.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in Aug 2017, Rupa worked as a Strat/Technologist for the Equity Derivative Business at Goldman Sachs for over 8 years, with automated trading for warrants and options as her primary responsibilities. Prior to that she held similar roles in Technology for a year at Morgan Stanley and Calyon Securities in Tokyo, Japan.
Rupa graduated from Karnataka Regional Engineering College in India with a masters degree in Computer Science.

Cindy leads APAC Technology Risk & Control and is also the global interim lead for Risk Treatment. Cindy and her team is responsible for managing technology risk/governance as well as Regulatory & Audit, Client engagement for Asia. She is also the responsible service owner for Technology Risk treatment.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2013, Cindy was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where she held various roles within their IT Risk and Enterprise Infrastructure Organization. Before she left she was the Asia COO for the Enterprise Infrastructure organization heading their risk & control, business management as well as the people & communication agenda.
Before joining Morgan Stanley, Cindy worked in Deutsche Bank as an IT Audit Manager for North Asia as well as an IT Internal Audit Manager for the HKEx.
Cindy graduated from Monash University, Australia with a degree in Computer Science. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and an MBA. She is married with two children and is involved in various volunteering initiatives in supporting under privileged children.

Mohammad Yousuf Hussain, CFA, is a Data Scientist at Jasmine22 – a newly established HSBC entity, set up to rapidly iterate concepts and deliver a next-generation corporate trade platform. Previous to that he was a Senior Technology and Innovation Specialist at HSBC. Working in the Applied Innovation and Strategic Investments team, he designed and delivered a number of artificial intelligence based solutions. Yousuf has also worked as a Senior Consultant at GreySpark Partners where he delivered projects for UBS, HSBC, Mizuho Securities, Nomura-Instinet, Interactive Brokers and SFC. He developed expertise in assessing trading algorithms by investigating the market abuse incidents for the regulator.

Alan Jones is responsible for Business Development across Asia Pacific at SmartStream and works with financial institutions in the region to improve their operational efficiency. Alan has been with the company for 16 years and, prior to moving to APAC, was the Product Manager for the SmartStream’s TLM Corporate Actions solution. Alan has more than 25 years’ industry experience within the financial services industry. Before joining SmartStream, he managed the Corporate Actions, Income Processing and Tax Departments for American Express Private Investment Bank. Whilst at American Express, Alan managed several significant projects dealing with the inception of new tax rules, implementation of new systems, procedures and business transformation initiatives.

David Quah is currently the Managing Director for Quantitative Investment Solution (QIS) based in Hong Kong. He is also a Director & Responsible Officer of Sensible Asset Management HK Ltd and Non Resident Licensed Director for fund management & Board Director, Value Partners Asset Management Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Prior to that, he was the Head of ETF at Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) where he was involved in the launch of the first batch of Leveraged and Inverse Products on Hong Kong indices and on S&P 500 and Topix as well as the launch of futures-based oil ETF.
Earlier, he spent almost 20 years at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, mainly responsible for product development including ETF, the Growth Enterprise Market and Callable Bull/Bear Contracts (CBBC). He was Vice President of Market Infrastructure and Products, Cash Trading at HKEX.
He has also worked for the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The World Bank and the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA).

Medhy Souidi is the Head of FinTech and the Startup Xchange programme of DBS Hong Kong. Medhy is co-chair of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong’s Blockchain committee, and was named by global FinTech hub LATTICE80 as one of 50 top FinTech influencers, and by Whub as one of the Startup and FinTech influencers.
Prior to joining DBS, Medhy was a Senior Project Manager at Privé Technologies. He has also held senior positions at financial and technology companies and institutions in France, Canada and Hong Kong.

Kerr Hatrick is Senior Algorithmic Strategist at Morgan Stanley Asia. He joined the firm in 2013 and runs the Morgan Stanley Execution Services Strategist group in Asia. His research is currently focused on intraday trading patterns and price formation in equities and futures; he has constructed and managed significant equity portfolios, and his software has won a number of external awards. He is familiar with the full spectrum of equity products, having started work in risk management and derivative pricing, and has worked as quantitative strategist for both Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank. He received his Ph.D. from University College London.

Peter leads DataRobot’s financial markets practice and works closely with fintech, banking, and asset management clients on numerous high-ROI use cases for DataRobot’s industry-leading automated machine learning platform. He has twenty-five years’ experience in senior quantitative research, portfolio management, trading, risk management and data science roles at investment banks and asset managers including Morgan Stanley, Warburg Pincus, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Lansdowne Partners and Invesco, as well as spending several years as a partner at a start-up global equities hedge fund. Peter has an M.Sc. in Data Science from City, University of London, an MBA from Cranfield University School of Management, and a B.Sc. in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick. His paper, “Hunting High and Low: Visualising Shifting Correlations in Financial Markets”, was published in the July 2018 issue of Computer Graphics Forum.
Jon is a FinTech entrepreneur who has worked his entire career in the development of new financial technologies. This included executing the first trades of Reuters D22 and being part of the launch team of Currenex as well as developing trading businesses in Europe for FXCM and Barclays. Jon co-founded and built-out globally the low latency trading network – FX ecosystem, and the FX trading community - LetstalkFX.
